Good morning!
It's time to get your craft on with a brand new Sketch and Challenge over at the Scrapmuch? blog.
I haven't had much time myself for crafting recently, so I thoroughly enjoyed carving out a little time for this one.
Here goes:
So Loved
And here is this weeks wonderful Sketch:
I decided to condense most of the design to the central area of the page, used smaller photo's and therefore left a larger area of white space. It always amazes me how sketches can produce such different results each time, even when all the basic elements are there.....just by altering a few minor details.
The starting point for this page (other than the sketch!) was my burning desire to use my new Prima stamps. The dripping paint effect has been a long fave of mine, but to be quite honest I'm far to lazy to try to recreate it! Along comes a set of stamp that takes away all the hard work!
This time around I used pastels to blend with my choice of papers (I Am by Simple Stories), but I look forward to experimenting with more vibrant colours in the future.
There's an eclectic mix of Washi tape, paper strips, messy thread, pencil circles and chevrons (using a brayer and gold paint) lurking in the background.
And more layers provided by die cuts, vintage style photo slide frames, and of course.......a pin button - can't go without one of those now can we?!!
A modest sprinkling of enamel dots and that's about all from me.
We would love for you to join us with this or any of the four sketch challenges provided over on the Scrapmuch? blog. There's always a chance to win a fabulous prize and a whole bunch of inspiration there too from the rest of the DT.
Have an awesome weekend,
Jayne.x.

Edit:
The colours, chevrons, and touches of gold on this page were totally inspired by the gorgeous mood board over at Scrap Around The World this month. However, when I completed and posted the page on my blog, I somehow thought I'd missed the deadline for entering this months challenge!
Duh.....I just realised it's still open till the end of the month so this baby will be heading over there.

Love the way you've incorporated the moodboard into your creation. Thank you for joining us over at SATW xx
Great page! I love the composition. Clustering around the photo and keeping it tight really works for this photo! Love the washi tape strips along the edges for interest! All the best from SATW! :)
