Little Red Wagon #182 Crimp My Style!

Hi there.

Sorry for my late posting today, but yesterday turned out to be a little chaotic.  I ended up having to work an unplanned double shift and the day included quite the goose egg on my daughters forehead ,after a disagreement with the tarmac at school!

Oh dear.

Needless to say any plans for cardmaking went right out the window.  I finally managed to get myself in gear this morning and produce a card as it's Wednesday, which means it's that time again..........

.....time to dig into your wagon for challenge #182  'Crimp My Style' issued by Rosanne.

I did follow the rules and used something crimped on my creation, I just didn't exactly crimp it myself.........that would mean a little extra work on my part, and it just wasn't going to happen this morning. I dug into my stash and came out with a corrugated sheet from Fancy Pants that I've been itching to use for a while anyhow!

Here goes.

Lots of fussy cutting on here and I do love these papers - Park Bench from Fancy Pants, great colour scheme.

That's about all folks, short and sweet.

Hopefully you'll get a chance to join in with this weeks challenge and don't forget to check out the creations from the rest of the girlfriends.

Have a great day and I'll see you later in the week,

A 'Fussy' kind of challenge.

Happy Monday.

Did ya get snow over the weekend, did ya, did ya, huh?

This is a slight under exaggerated impression of my kiddo's who were pretty thrilled to see a covering of the white stuff over the last couple of days.........me......not so much!

Looks like it will be a long winter....yay!

Anyhow happier thoughts.

Today I have a Crafty Challenge for you, which I'm hosting over on the Two Scrapbook Friends Forum this week.

I thought we'd get a little fussy.......with the scissors that is.  Grab your patterned papers, stamps, digital images or anything you might have a slight grudge against, and cut the heck out of it.

Doesn't matter whether you create a card, scrapbook page or anything else which takes your fancy, just go for it.

I have a scrapbook page for you as an example, another showcasing one of our summer family activities earlier this year.

Awesome Niagara Falls.

So here's the fussy cutting we've mentioned, not in the least time consuming I know, but usually worth the end result.

A collection of flowers, punched butterflies, die cuts etc.

And a few more, together with lace and alpha beads, for a little added texture.

Papers are from My Minds Eye's 'Indie Chic' and the layout was inspired by sketch #51 over at Sketch Savvy.

Thanks for stopping by and I'll see you in a couple of days.

Peas in a Pod!

Hello again, how's the week going so far?

I think I've finally cleaned up and dried out from the muddiest, soggiest Field Trip ever on Tuesday, in the history of Field Trips!  My washing machine will never be the same again, and the brand sparkling new rubber boots we each had, are still sitting in the garage, waiting for me to hose them down.  I'll bring myself to do it eventually!

Anyhow, on to happier thoughts.  My final layout from my recent Two Scrapbook Friends DT kit, using Prima's Doodle-Deux, is at last making an appearance.

Fussy cutting crazy on this one.........'Peas in a Pod'..........

I think this is my favourite page from this months kit.

Did I mention fussy cutting, cause there's a whole bunch of it on here together with a few canvas flowers thrown in there.

I also loved this idea I saw in a magazine recently of punching like crazy, so I got to work with my new Cropodile.  Had to add a little doodling too, frames everything nicely.

A little more fussy cutting around the title, from various sheets of PP, and another page completed for 'the book'!

Have a great day.....I'm making it a lazy one here, and I'll see you tomorrow,
