Little Red Wagon #247 - Christmas in July
I just headed here to post my creation for Sketchy Friday over at Scrapmuch? and noticed that my post for Little Red Wagon did not go ahead as I had planned this week!
Duh!!
Note to self: make sure you click 'publish' once you've scheduled a post!!
Oh dear.......me late again......what can I say?
So anyways, you will have two posts from me today.
Let's start with a belated one for............
and this week, Jan would like you to get a head start on those Christmas preparations whilst you're enjoying some sunny temperatures, cause it's 'Christmas in July'!
I just couldn't quite bring myself to dig out the red, green and golds while the sun is shining so nicely, so I went with that lesser know Christmas colour combination...........orange, teal and brown!!
Do you think it'll catch on?!! Lol.
I used an image from Prairie Fairy I found in my stash - coloured up with Copic's probably two years ago and just waiting patiently to make it to a Christmas card.
I used a little Glossy Accents on her specs and Liquid Applique for the fur trim.
You still have time to get a head start on your own Christmas creations, so why not join in the fun and link up over on the blog.
The Girlfriends have some fun inspiration waiting there for you too.
Have a great day but I'll be back shortly with today's second post!
Till then,

An 'out of the box' swingy thingy!
I hope all my Canadian friends had a Happy Thanksgiving. We are far too English to celebrate, but we did make the effort and go to the parade at least.
Doesn't this make you want to run to the nearest swing and kick your legs out as high as you can go? Well maybe I'll just reach for my coffee instead!
So here's Gillian again, from Prairie Fairy Designs but this time I felt she needed to be a redhead. She's coloured with Copic's and papers are from My Minds Eye. I used my Martha Stewart punch to create the butterflies............
added a little bling, ribbon and a button and we're done. The sentiment is a $1.50 rubber stamp from Michael's.
Don't you just love Glossy Accents?
Don't know what I'd do without them.
I'll leave you with one more image of Gillian, as I seem to have gone from not remembering to take any close-ups at all, to going completely overboard!
Almost forgot.....the LO for this card is inspired by the current sketch challenge over at Pink Ink Sketch Challenges.
Have a great day and I'll see you tomorrow

#1!
It's my hubby's Birthday this week, so I finally got myself into gear over the weekend and made a card.......makes a change from me rushing around the night before!
I love this little guy (as well as my husband of course!) and I've been waiting for just the right card to put him on, so here he is, my #1............
This is Lewis, another of my winnings from Prairie Fairy Designs and I love these images. I've just coloured up another Gillian, so you can expect to see her in the near future.
Papers are from my new Authentique 6"x6" pad and I have to say, the quality of them is awesome. The LO is inspired by a sketch from The Deconstructed Sketch and the ticket sentiment is actually a rubber stamp (from Michael's), to which I've added text using Word. Almost forgot to mention......I added a fair amount of Glossy Accents to his specs....perfect!
That's all for today, so have a good one

Cuter than most!
I wanted to pop in and post a pretty little card that I hope is travelling across the pond right now to my niece, who's Birthday was last week (me.....late again....surely not!!).
Anyhow, of course she is one of the sweetest little ladies I know, so an effort had to be made to create the prettiest, girliest card I could. I think I found the perfect image and papers to go with it, so here it is..........
Sweet!
I've always loved Gillian, this little cutie from Prairie Fairy Designs, so when I happened to win 'Top Spot' a while back (for this card in case you're interested!), it was a no brainer as to which images I chose.
Colouring this week is using....wait for it.........'Promarkers'! Yes I have added to my collection......you've gotta love In-laws who bring Promarkers in their luggage! I also added some Liquid Pearls to Gillian's necklace and earrings.
I'm also really loving the new paper collection from My Minds Eye - Lost and Found 2, and this is from the 6"x6"pad (Blush). The sentiment is one of those really reasonable $1.50 wooden stamps from Michaels.
Hope she likes it.
I'm off now to find some challenges, so I may be back later.
Have a great Sunday
