Sketch Challenge at Scrapmuch? - Everyday Moments

Hi there, I hope you have some glorious weather wherever you are and are able to enjoy a little this weekend.

We do (about time too!) and I've just finished work so I'm of out to make the most of it but before I do, time to catch up on yesterday's Sketch-y Friday Challenge over at Scrapmuch?

There's a lovely new sketch up on the blog for you to play with so here's my effort:

Everyday Moments

and here's the sketch:

I changed up the bracket shape for some chevrons to keep with the clean modern feel.  I also added some interest to the background with a little texture paste, Glimmer mist and doodling.

The journal strips were printed using my Cameo and of course, I had to get a pin badge in there.....always space for a little flare!

Finally the title which was super easy......don't you love these new puffy title from Queen & Co?  A little embellishment with a paperclip from Maya Road and we're done.

Now it's your turn - head on over to the Scrapmuch? blog and choose this or any of the sketches provided for you this month.......link up your creation and you could be in with a chance of winning a prize!

The DT have a whole load of inspiration waiting there for you too.

That's all from me so it must be time to enjoy the sunshine.

Have a great weekend and I'll be seeing you next week,
Jayne.x.

Oh I love your take on the sketch Jayne! Just the little change of adding the chevrons and the subtle texture sure looks fab. Hope you are enjoying the outdoors today. xx

What a gorgeous page!! I love how you did with this sketch, especially with the background technique - gesso!.. I like the black outline around the pennant to give it more character.
