There's a new challenge occurring today over at the Lollipop Shop, home to By LORI Designs digi's of course, and your colour contenders this week are..............
I have no idea of their technical colour descriptions, so in my high tech opinion they are........pale pink, rose pink, a deep red and a dark brown. This is what I came up with..........a Valentine for my hubby!
Sweet! I'll run through the deets pretty quickly, but I think this card may hold the record for the most amount of digi's I've ever used on one card........6 no less, and the best part is..........4 of them are 'freebies'! How cool is that?
So, here goes (and I'm working on a new quick 'recipe' method!!)
Images: By LORI Designs.........Tammy and George Sugarstick coloured with Copic's, matted on to brown card stock and fussy cut
DP's (pinks): Echo Park....edges distressed and sewn
DP (red): October Afternoon 'Campfire' line......embossed using Cuttlebug folder
Card stock: Bazzil
Bingo ticket digi: Freebie from Scrapdictive
'Love=' sentiment digi (which I layered onto the ticket):Create With TLC........one of my fave 'freebie sentiment blogs!
Ticket digi (outline): Freebie from Bitavins blog
Heart digi: Gingerloft (can't seem to find the link!)
One last thing.....my layout inspiration for this card, came from a sketch challenge over at Karen Giron's blog for her Sweet Sunday Sketch challengeThere you go, that's about it, so head on over to By LORI Designs and join in the fun. I'll be back later with hopeful challenge entries.
Have a great day!
